![]() ![]() I had thought when they came out with X Transform they had dropped the developer for Windows boxes. So they came out with X Transformer so you could use most of the features and generate a DNG you could use with other developers. They started working on it for Windows, but it must have been a lot more work than first thought. ![]() The software converts Fuji X-Trans files to DNG from the native RAF, and during the process demosaics the images using Irident’s own engine. You would have to Email Brian but I know at one time the Windows users were whining because the developer was only available on the Mac. If you haven’t used it before, or come across it, Iridient X-Transformer is a new piece of software (currently still in beta) from the makers of Iridient Developer. I also thought that Iridient Transformer was PC compatible. I hadn't tried it with my X3F's but will. Iridient does a masterful job with my Fuji RAF's. The only down side for some will be - the developer is only available for the Mac. It has nice highlight recovery.Īll and all a nice package especially considering it is a one man company. It has indecent control of shadows, midtowns and highlights. It has deconvolution sharpening for caused where diffraction sets in or small camera movement.
